About The Course

3D Diorama: Winter Ski Snow Scene

Step into a winter wonderland! This exciting new course challenges children to design and construct a detailed, 3D Alpine Ski Resort. From snowy peaks and chairlifts to tiny adventurers on the slopes, students will transform a blank space into an immersive, frost-covered diorama masterpiece.

Children will learn how to:

• Sculpt landscape elements using various materials, and structural supports to create dramatic elevation and mountain scenes.

• Master texture techniques to create convincing snow, ice, and frozen effects using mixed media, creative layering and shimmering finishes.

• Develop spatial composition by positioning slopes, lift systems, and miniature figures to create a sense of action, height, and depth.

• Apply fine-detail painting and miniature crafting to bring the crisp, wintry atmosphere of the slopes to life.

This course is ideal for budding storytellers, artists, and any young inventor who loves to create worlds from scratch. It’s a hands-on experience that blends landscape architecture with creative storytelling—culminating in a final "Resort Reveal" where students can showcase their chilly creations!
