Drawing Techniques
Discover the building blocks of brilliant drawing! In this skills-based course, children will explore a wide range of drawing techniques designed to boost confidence and develop artistic ability. Each week, we’ll focus on a different skill—from shading, perspective, and proportion to texture, line work, and composition.
Children will learn how to:
Use pencil, charcoal, and fine-liners to create depth and detail
Draw from observation, imagination, and prompts
Understand shape, scale, and layout through fun guided exercises
Explore different drawing styles and approaches used by artists
This course is perfect for children who enjoy sketching, want to build their art skills, or are just curious to learn the ‘how to’ behind great drawing. All abilities welcome—just bring enthusiasm!
